Security Policy

1. Driver Verification and Compliance

All DUDU Car Driver-Partners must complete identity verification, hold a valid Malaysian driving licence and PSV licence where required, and maintain valid vehicle insurance and safety compliance before accepting ride bookings.

1.1. Identity Verification

All Driver-Partners must complete identity verification prior to activation. This includes submission of a valid NRIC or passport (where legally permitted), a valid Malaysian driving licence, verification of personal information, and photo or biometric verification. DUDU Car may conduct periodic re‑verification.

1.2. Vocational Licensing (PSV Licence)

Driver-Partners must hold a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) vocational licence issued by JPJ, including completion of training and examination requirements. Drivers without a valid PSV licence may be suspended until compliance is restored.

1.3. Vehicle Eligibility and Inspection

Vehicles must be properly registered with JPJ, comply with vehicle age and eligibility standards, maintain valid road tax and insurance, and pass required inspections, including PUSPAKOM inspections where applicable. DUDU Car may require additional inspections at any time.

1.4. Insurance Requirements

Driver-Partners must maintain valid motor vehicle insurance covering e‑hailing use, including third‑party liability coverage, and must provide proof of insurance upon request.

1.5. Background and Safety Screening

DUDU Car may conduct screening procedures, including identity verification, driving licence validation, and compliance checks. Platform access may be denied or revoked based on safety considerations.

1.6. Continuous Compliance Monitoring

Driver-Partners must maintain valid documentation at all times. DUDU Car may conduct periodic compliance reviews, document renewal checks, and identity re‑verification.

1.7. Electric Vehicle Requirements

As an EV platform, DUDU Car requires vehicles to meet EV safety and operational standards, including proper battery condition and sufficient charge to complete trips safely.

1.8. Enforcement and Platform Access

DUDU Car reserves the right to suspend or deactivate accounts that fail to meet compliance requirements and may cooperate with regulatory authorities where required.

2. Trip and Identity Transparency

Passengers will receive driver name, profile photo, vehicle informations, driver reviews, and estimated arrival time before pickup. Passengers should confirm vehicle registration and driver identity prior to boarding.

2.1. Driver and Vehicle Identification

Passengers can view the Driver-Partner’s name, profile photo, vehicle make, model, colour, EVP number, EVP expiration date and registration number in the DUDU Car application before pickup. Passengers should verify these details before entering the vehicle.

2.2. Real-Time Trip Information

The application provides real-time driver location, estimated arrival time, trip route, and fare estimate to ensure passengers are informed throughout the journey.

2.3. Digital Trip Records

DUDU Car maintains secure records of trip details, including pickup and drop-off locations, trip time, driver information, and fare, to ensure accountability and support safety investigations.

2.4. Passenger Privacy

Driver-Partners only receive limited passenger information like name and pick up location necessary to complete the trip. Personal and payment information remains protected within the platform.

2.5. Post-Trip Receipts and Reporting

Passengers will receive an electronic receipt after each trip and may report any discrepancies or safety concerns through DUDU Car customer support.

3. In-App Communication

DUDU Car provides secure in-app chat box to protect user privacy. Users are encouraged to communicate only through official platform channels.

4. Ride Tracking and Trip Records

All trips are digitally recorded, including pickup and drop-off locations, trip duration, time when booking is made and account details of drivers and passengers, to ensure accountability and support investigations.

4.1. Real-Time Ride Tracking

All trips booked through the DUDU Car application are tracked using GPS technology. Passengers can view the Driver-Partner’s real-time location, estimated arrival time, and trip progress directly within the application.

4.2. Trip Data Recording

DUDU Car securely records key trip information, including pickup and drop-off locations, trip date and time, route taken, trip duration, Driver-Partner and passenger account details, and fare information.

4.3. Safety and Investigation Support

Trip records may be used to review safety concerns, resolve disputes, investigate incidents, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

4.4. Passenger Access to Trip History

Passengers may access their trip history and electronic receipts through the application at any time, including driver details, trip summary, and fare breakdown.

4.5. Data Protection

Trip information is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel or when required by law, in accordance with DUDU Car privacy and security policies.

5. Emergency and Safety Reporting

Passengers and Driver-Partners may report safety concerns or incidents through the application or customer support. DUDU Car will review reports and may take appropriate action.

6. Account Security

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and must report unauthorized access immediately. DUDU Car will never request passwords outside official channels.

6.1. Account Registration

Users must register with accurate personal information and verify their account using secure authentication methods such as one-time passwords (OTP).

6.2. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and must not share their account. All activity under the account is the user’s responsibility.

6.3. Protection Against Unauthorized Access

Users must report any suspected unauthorized access or suspicious activity immediately. DUDU Car may suspend accounts to prevent misuse.

6.4. Data and Payment Protection

DUDU Car uses secure systems to protect personal and payment information and does not share sensitive details with unauthorized parties.

6.5. Enforcement

DUDU Car reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that pose security risks or violate platform policies.

7. Payment Security

All cashless payments are processed using secure payment systems. DUDU Car does not store full card details on user devices.

7.1. Secure Payment Processing

All cashless payments are processed through secure and authorized payment providers using encrypted systems to protect user information.

7.2. Protection of Payment Information

DUDU Car does not store full credit or debit card details on user devices and limits access to sensitive payment information.

7.3. Authorized Transactions

Payments can only be made through the official DUDU Car application. Users should not make payments outside the platform.

7.4. Fraud Prevention

DUDU Car monitors transactions for suspicious activity and may suspend accounts or transactions to prevent fraud.

7.5. Reporting Concerns

Users should report any unauthorized charges or payment concerns to DUDU Car customer support immediately.

8. Platform Monitoring and Fraud Prevention

DUDU Car monitors platform activity to detect fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse. Accounts involved in suspicious activity may be suspended.

9. Passenger Safety Responsibilities

Passengers should confirm driver details, use only official bookings, remain alert, and report unsafe behavior.

10. Driver-Partner Safety

Passengers must behave respectfully. Abusive or illegal behavior may result in account suspension or referral to authorities.

11. Continuous Improvement

DUDU Car continuously improves safety, security, and verification processes.
