Payment Policy
1. Fare Structure
Ride fares are calculated based on the distance traveled, trip duration, selected service tier, demand conditions, toll charges and applicable service fees. The estimated fare is displayed before booking confirmation. The final fare may vary depending on actual trip conditions.
2. Dynamic Pricing
During periods of high demand like peak hour, fares may increase temporarily. Dynamic pricing helps improve ride availability by encouraging DUDU Driver-Partners to accept bookings. All fare adjustments will be shown before booking confirmation.
3. Payment Methods
Passengers may pay using approved methods available in the application, including:
l Credit/Debit Cards
l D Coin
l Cash
Passengers must ensure their payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.
4. Authorization and Charges
When using cashless payments, DUDU Car may place a temporary authorization hold to verify payment validity. The final fare will be charged after trip completion. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
5. Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees may apply if a booking is canceled after driver acceptance, after driver arrival, or after exceeding the waiting period. The applicable fee (RM5) will be displayed in the application.
6. Waiting Time Charges
Additional charges (RM5) may apply if the DUDU Driver-Partner waits beyond the complimentary waiting period at the pickup location.
7. Tolls, Parking, and Additional Charges
Passengers are responsible for tolls and applicable surcharges incurred during the trip. These charges will be included in the final fare where applicable.
8. Receipts
An electronic receipt will be issued after trip completion and made available through the application and/or registered email.
9. Refunds and Disputes
Passengers may submit payment disputes through customer support. DUDU Car will review requests and issue adjustments where appropriate. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
10. Fraud and Misuse
DUDU Car reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent payment activity, unauthorized payment use, or policy violations.
11. Policy Updates
DUDU Car may update this Payment Policy at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
